Noeleen is a talented makeup artist and hairstylist who is all for Rustic & Natural bridal styles. “I absolutely love the laid back style. Like Nature, I like to bring out the beauty from within”. Additionally, Noeleen is the only deaf makeup artist in Ireland.
In her opinion, it’s really important to get a feel of your personality. In our makeup and hair consultation forms, you will fill out questions about what you like, favourite themes, what colour scheme is being used for the wedding, etc. On bridal trials, she invites her brides to bring their favourite makeup looks to discuss this with them on the day. It is a relaxed, very laid back process for the bride and most importantly: their bridal trial is enjoyable.

Noeleen is very organized. Her kit is always prepped with additional things: “I once took out my sewing kit to fix a torn wedding dress!” She is always early to plan a schedule for hair and makeup and how to will look after the bride and family on the day.

A few tips for you: get a few nights of good quality sleep coming up to the big day. Don’t drink too much and stay hydrated so you are well-rested and your skin looks fresh. When you get nervous or stressed, remember to take a breath and just let everyone else look after you.
