Bridal FAQs
Can you work with ethnic skin tones?
Yes. All of our artists are highly experienced and have worked with varied skin tones. We are prepared to match any skin tones: dark, olive, blue (the Irish complexion!) and yours 🙂 Please see our artists’ previous work here.
Do you do airbrush makeup?
Yes, all of our artists are equipped with this knowledge. We charge an additional €100 on any of our packages for this service.
How long will my makeup last?
Our professional makeup application techniques are waterproof and resist well to sweat. You may need a lip touch up or an extra bit of powder, but you should be able to enjoy your wedding care-free!
Do you stay for touch ups?
We apply your makeup early so that you can have a relaxed moment to yourself and forget about any wedding stress. Before you get into your dress we do some final touch-ups and start packing to leave. After you are ready, we make sure that you are all set, and we leave you to enjoy your time with family and take photos.
What if I need more time before I walk down the aisle?
Generally we leave after the makeup party is completed. However, if you need us to stay a bit longer for touch-ups, By-The-Hour additional time is available.
Do Eff Bridal do bridal trials?
Yes, we do. This s not always needed, but it is highly recommended to set your mind at rest. In bridal trials, we will discuss your preferences and ideas, ensure that the look you have chosen for your wedding suits you, and make the necessary changes. Our tip is that you book your trial for when you have your bridal photoshoot so you can see how long the makeup lasts and what it looks like on camera. Book yours here .
What to bring to my bridal trial?
If possible, do not wear makeup to your trial. If you have to wear makeup, please keep it as natural as possible so we can remove it quickly. Make sure to bring images of your favourite looks and think about your personal preferences. We will be asking plenty of questions on the day too to get to know your style better.
Where is Eff Bridal located?
Currently we are going to your location if based in Dublin/Wicklow area
How can I pay?
We accept bank transfers or payments by credit card for bridal deposits. For your final balance, we accept either of the previous methods one month in advance of the wedding day, and we will invoice you when all the details have been confirmed.
What if I have an extra person on the day?
If, on the day, someone else needs or wants to be included in the makeup party, we will do our utmost to accommodate them. Any additional person can be paid for in cash.
Who else can receive your services?
Anyone who needs it! We have been asked to cover up black eyes for brothers who play sport, bruises, red noses and more. So don’t hesitate to approach us about anything you or someone else may need.
